Printmaker, Rose Hirano works exclusively in Reduction Wood Block prints. Unlike the traditional printing method, she carves one single piece of wood as a medium to deliver often ten layers of colours to achieve the final image.

Her prints are on view at the Gallery, which is open to the public Wednesday afternoons. It is also open by appointments, please call the number listed above.

Her works are available for monthly rental for offices and homes.

Searching for balance and personal peace, she uses abstracted imageries and a muted palette to portray simplicity.

She exhibited for the last two years at the Toronto Nathan Phillips Square Outdoor Art Exhibitions, last December at the Artist Project in Chicago and recently in the Toronto Artist Project at Liberty Grand.
