
French Impressions is the theme for York Symphony Orchestra final concert of the season.
Guest Conductor Rafael Luz will lead the orchestra in the works of : Debussy, Saint-Saëns, Ravel and Franck.
York Symphony Orchestra is delighted to welcome back one of their most popular and dynamic soloist. Cellist, Andrew Ascenzo, has performed in venues across Canada.

Saint-Saens - Cello Concerto No.1
Ravel - BoleroFranck - Symphony in D Minor
The York Symphony Orchestra has built a tradition of high musical energy, community support, orchestra player camaraderie, and responsible management. Players are drawn from all parts of the Region of York, the city of Toronto and other nearby communities.
The seventy to eighty players making up the Orchestra come from all walks of life, including professional musicians.
