

Demo: Composing with a computer and starting your canvas An introduction to the possibilities of using a computer to fine tune shapes, create composite figures, and develop compositions for paintings . This will be followed by a demonstration on how to transfer an image to canvas for further development
Workshop: Creating stronger drawings with black & white conte on toned paper Using black and white conte on a mid-value paper (grey or brown). This is a very effective medium/technique for producing powerful drawings that will have a stronger three dimensional appearance than that achieved by the usual darkening of a white sheet of paper. I will begin by showing examples and demonstrating this method.
Asher Sadeh was born in New York City in 1945, graduated from Pratt Institute in 1970 with Masters in Fine Art. Asher is a Teaching Master in painting, drawing, art history, photography, illustration, audio-visual production, anatomy, mural design, School of Design & Visual Arts, Georgian College, Barrie, Ontario, since 1976
Asher has participated in over 40 group and solo exhibitions of painting and photography in various private and public galleries in New York, Israel and Ontario and have also worked as a portrait painter, illustrator and photographer since 1965
