This 30-minute documentary film tells two women’s personal stories of violence and HIV/AIDS.
Join award-winning documentary filmmaker, Chanda Chevannes, for this screening and discussion focusing on women, violence, and HIV/AIDS.
Chanda Chevannes, the film’s co-producer and director, will be present after the screening to discuss the measurable impacts SASA! has had on communities in sub-Saharan Africa. Chanda is a filmmaker with a Toronto-based production company - The People’s Picture Company - and strives to create work that encourages discussion and inspires change. She has a deep interest in using film for public education
