There are many Richmond Hill churches that welcome everyone to their services, particularly on the weeks coming up to Christmas.
The four Sundays before Christmas are the season of Advent. In 2023 this would be December 3, 10, 17 and 24.
The church services include a lighting of candles and hymns.
Each church celebrates a little differently. There are 4 themes for each week of Advent:Hope–Love–Joy–Peace.
There are also special Christmas eve and Christams Day services.
