"Fill a Purse for a Sister Campaign" needs to find drop-off locations

less than 1 minute

The Fill a Purse for a Sister Campaign began locally six years ago.

The numbers of domestic abuse incidents have dramatically increased during the pandemic, and there are more women, youth and children in need.  To address this issue purses (new or gently used) are filled with items women really need - feminne hygienne products, soap, kleenex...  And this year, masks, hand sanitizer....  Click here for a list of needed items.

This year's Richmond Hill organizer, Sara Jamil (Compassion First) is looking for local businesses interested in helping by being drop-off locations for residents to bring their donations.

The location needs to be a business with a store front, where a box/basket can be placed in a visible and easily accessible place. Sara can provide a box/basket.
