The Richmond Hill Historical Society meets on the third Monday of each month (except July and August)
This month Richmond Hill Public Library’s Local History Librarian Peter Wilson presents a fascinating historical look at one of Richmond Hill’s most significant and iconic sites.
Dedicated on August 5, 1923, the Cenotaph serves as an poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by our brave Richmond Hill residents.
All are welcome to attend. Come and learn more about the events leading up to its creation and its long legacy.
Guest Fee $5.00. Yearly memberships are available at $40.00 for Family and $25.00 for Individuals.
Light refreshments are served following the meeting.
