This weekend we feature the work of talented members Irene Schaefer and Lucy P. Logan.
Irene Schaefer (featured below) grew up in Europe in a creative environment. Although she has been interested in art since her childhood, she only started painting later in life and is primarily self-taught. Using acrylic paint as her medium and finding interest in different shapes, play of colour and light she paints a variety of subject matters such as flowers, still life, landscapes. Love for saturated colours is apparent in her work.
Lucy P. Logan (featured above) is from the Philippines, and has spent much of her life living in Indonesia, Canada and now in the winter months, Florida. Art has been her passion since childhood. She studied Visual Communications at the University of the Philippines. Lucy has mentored with some of Indonesia’s very talented artists, and continues to work on improving her art practice.
