This month's focus is on Empowering Immigrants. PA Deepak Anand, the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training, and Skills Development will be attending on Minister McNaughton's behalf.
As part of our community spotlight representatives from the Centre for Immigrant and Community Services joining us to share their valuable work and resources. This session will focus on the importance of community support for newcomers and the services provided by the Welcome Center to facilitate a successful settlement and integration. Learn about the various programs, workshops, and support systems available to newcomers, including language training, employment assistance, cultural orientation, and social integration initiatives. This segment aims to highlight the collaborative efforts between government, organizations, and the community, in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for immigrants in Richmond Hill.
