For this week: A Sense of Place – “The World”
Josephine Sherman is an award-winning artist and art teacher. This show celebrates the splendor and diversity of various places in the world, including Canada, New Mexico, the Arctic, and Iceland.
MEDIA: WATERCOLOR, CHARCOAL, CHALK PASTEL, ACRYLIC
ARTIST STATEMENT: “My inspiration comes from nature and from being a part of the natural world; just as the tree stands and sways in the breeze, so do I. Feeling the force of nature, sometimes gentle, other times strong and powerful, I am aware of being a part of something bigger and beyond.”
The Mill Pond Gallery is located in the heart of historic Richmond Hill across from beautiful Mill Pond Park.
No admission fee, free parking.
