Connecting the Community Meeting - Building a Resilient, Self-Reliant, Sustainable Ontario in an Unstable World

Event Date:
Tuesday, June 24, 2025 - 9:45am to 11:30am

Connecting the Community (CTC) meetings have been happening for decades now.  Although always open to everyone they've been promoted to those who have come before.

This CTC meeting is important.  We're hoping to see some people that we haven't seen before but are concerned about how things are unfolding around us.

Franz Hartmann from the Alliance for a Liveable Ontario will be giving a presentation and engaging us in discussion

Building a Resilient, Self-Reliant, Sustainable Ontario in an Unstable World
We're living through tough times. The affordability crisis. the housing crisis, and the climate crisis are all being made worse by threats from the U.S. to harm our economy and take away our independence.  But the good news is that the right set of solutions will actually help solve all of these crises and make us more resilient, self-reliant and sustainable. Learn about what actions we can take together to navigate these unstable times and create a truly liveable Ontario.

The meeting is in Room A of the second floor of the Central Library.  The library opens at 9:30 am.
