The City of Richmond Hill’s Cultural Services Team is excited to share two opportunities for artists to participate in the City’s 2024 Canada Day celebrations!
Richmond Hill’s Festivals and Events are a great way to showcase your offerings and connect to the community.
Artists are invited to apply to be Art Vendors or Art Facilitators on Monday, July 1st, 2024 at Richmond Green Park.
Artists are asked to be present from the time of approximately 2pm-8pm, after which they are welcomed to join the celebrations in the park which will last until 11pm. Set-up can begin as early as 12pm (noon).
Arts Vendors: Individual or organizations that occupy a booth with the sole intention of displaying and selling works of art/craft that have been personally handmade or designed by the artist or organization.
Fee of $107.20 (including HST and service fees) is due upon acceptance of application.

Artists will be provided:
- 1 x table
- 2 x chairs
- 2 x 15 amp outlets
- 2 x Art Grids by request
Artists must provide:
- Tent and tent weights
- Display materials (easels, etc.)
Please apply as an Arts Vendor by April 21st at 11:59 pm to be considered.
Arts Facilitators: The City is seeking artists who have a strong background in arts instruction for all ages and are interested in facilitating a creative activity for the public at our Canada Day festivities. If interested, please reply to this email with your proposed activity for consideration, including the art project you wish to facilitate and any required material. This is a paid opportunity and volunteer support will be provided. A recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check is required of the successful facilitator(s).
