The City of Richmond Hill is making progress in its comprehensive review of all Zoning By-laws and is hosting its next series of virtual public information sessions this spring.
Zoning By-laws affect everyone and all properties in the City. They regulate land use, including where buildings (e.g. houses and offices) and other structures (e.g. sheds and cabanas) can be located, what size they can be and how they may be used.
Learn more about zoning issues, trends and recommended options, as well as have an opportunity to provide comments about the proposed options.
1) Thursday, March 31, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. - Home-based business uses - Residential accessory structures (e.g. sheds, cabanas)
2) Monday, April 4, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. - Residential parking
3) Monday, April 11, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. - Cannabis processing facilities
Registration will open approximately two weeks before each session. Residents can subscribe to www.RichmondHill.ca/ZoneRH to receive notifications as more information becomes available.
