High Notes Avante is thrilled to announce the creation of the High Notes Music Ensemble.
This group is for musicians who would like to make music with new friends and play together in harmony.
It is open to anyone who has been touched by mental illness, escaped war or been discriminated against—or just are looking to achieve and support better mental health.
This ensemble is for those who already know how to play an instrument. Whether you play flute, violin, trombone or percussion (or any other instrument) we welcome you! You just need to be able to read music, practise regularly and fill in the application form below.
They do welcome musicians who already play in other orchestras or groups. Once your application has been received High Notes Avante will determine whether one larger group or several smaller groups will be formed.
The initial group will be meeting in York Region but you never know what the future holds!!
