First meeting back after a summer break!
What is "Connecting the Community"?
It is coming together, particularly on Tuesday mornings, to learn who is doing what in the community. It is a time to have good conversations
There is no membership - just a willingness to get to know others in the community.
At most meetings, there will be a presenter, followed by conversation. We want to hear your thoughts.
For this week's meeting there will be two presenters.
1) Ward 2 Councillor Scott Thompson will help get us engaged in what is happening in our city. He will also be inviting us to his Eco Fest Event, October 4.
2) Since the Terry Fox Run is happening Sept. 14th, we needed to have one of the run's best champions, Glemena Bettencourt, come and tell you her story and encourage you to be part of Terry's journey of hope. She will bring some of her impressive memorabilia.
The meetings are held in Room A, second floor.
