Renowned public speaker and musician Mike Daley presents The Carole King Story with Jill Daley (violin/piano) and Laurel Tubman (vocals).
Mike is known across the GTA for his highly entertaining and informative talks on popular music history, richly illustrated with images and lyrics.
Jill Daley is a full-time musician at Canada's National Ballet School and, like Mike is part of the music staff at Redeemer.
Laurel Tubman is an accomplished and versatile young singer who has worked with the Nathaniel Dett Chorale and other prominent ensembles.
In this entertaining and informative show, you'll learn about how Carole King began her career as a songwriter for others and then found her voice with the blockbuster 1971 album Tapestry. Along the way, you'll hear classic songs like "You've Got A Friend," "I Feel The Earth Move" and "Will You Love Me Tomorrow."
