The goal of this consultation is to hear what matters most to you, the challenges you see ahead for yourself and your community, and your top priorities that the federal government should take action on.
Your input will be used to inform measures and investments in Budget 2024.
You will be able to share your input on some of the following major themes:
- Building affordable homes
- Accessible health care and medical services
- Support for seniors, children, and families
- Job opportunities and security
- Essential expenses (e.g. groceries, energy, and internet bills)
- Green infrastructure and renewable energy
- Support for small businesses
- Community safety
- Support for refugees and immigrants
There are four options available for you to submit your feedback:

The deadline to submit your feedback for the consultation is February 9, 2024.
Your feedback will be carefully reviewed by the Department of Finance and considered alongside the research that economists at the Department are conducting to help inform decisions on our next budget!
