Greg Chiykowski (https://artbygreg.weebly.com/)  is a local artist who is a keen outdoor enthusiast with an interest in plants and trees. Over the past year and a half, he has discovered the thrill of making his own inks from locally foraged botanical materials such as black walnut, acorn caps, wild grapes, grape vine twigs, goldenrod, sumac, buckthorn, and coreopsis. In addition, he has also made inks out of other interesting materials including coffee, cabbage, avocado pits, drywall, carbon. copper pipe, indigo, and weld. (see painting above)
