On behalf of United Way Greater Toronto and the Democratic Engagement Exchange, you’re invited to the Voice the Vote: York Region Kick-Off
Voice the Vote is a GTA-wide, community-led campaign supporting nonpartisan voter education and civic participation ahead of the municipal election. With voter turnout declining (32.9% in 2022), this initiative aims to strengthen community voice and engagement.
This kick-off will bring together local organizations and leaders to share insights, explore effective strategies, identify barriers, and shape tools and supports for civic engagement. Participants will also have the opportunity to help guide future resources, funding, and training.
