The Community Action Table in partnership with United Way, York Region and CMHA is providing grants to fund quick-action projects and improve the safety and wellbeing of the local community.
Applications will be accepted for projects and events to improve mental wellbeing and housing stability.
They are awarding ten $1,000 grants for resident groups and two $10,000 grants for organizations to implement a project that supports safety and wellbeing, or housing stability in Central Newmarket or South Central Richmond Hill.
