Give your input into the reshaping of  zoning in Richmond Hill

The City of Richmond Hill is reviewing its existing Zoning By-laws to develop a new Comprehensive Zoning By-law that will carry out the policies and vision of the City’s Official Plan.

The new Comprehensive Zoning By-law will be:

  • user friendly, easy to administer, enforce and understand;
  • reflective of current and emerging planning and development practices and trends; and,
  • fully accessible online in an interactive format.

The focuses are:

  • City-wide parking and loading requirements
  • Neighbourhoods
  • Yonge and 16th/Carrville Key Development Area
  • Newkirk Local Centre
  • Oak Ridges Local Centre
  • Village Local Centre

The city is hosting an in-person open house Monday, June 24 6:30–8:30 p.m. Bayview Hill Community Centre AND you can share your thoughts and visit RichmondHill/ZoneRH for information on the open house and the City’s new Comprehensive Zoning By-law.
