York Region Food Network and the City of Richmond Hill's Environment and Sustainability team are looking to collect, share, and celebrate Local Food Stories that strengthen our community through food.
They are looking to learn more about the actions, events and programs in Richmond Hill that improve access to food, connect people, and make positive impacts.
Stories can be submitted about people, places, community groups, organizations, or business that are making a difference and can inspire others and future initiatives.
Everyone is welcome to submit, however stories that are local to Richmond Hill, and are aligned with the York Region Food Charter will be prioritized for sharing via social media and online.
The submission deadline is August 15, 2026.
