Strong Towns Richmond Hill is hosting a Breakout Game Night where teams will work through clues, questions and challenges inspired by real municipal issues. You might have to figure out who is responsible for what, make choices about city priorities, decode election information, or solve a Richmond Hill puzzle before the other teams do.
This is not a lecture, debate or campaign event. It’s a relaxed, non-partisan way to meet other Richmond Hill residents, learn a little more about how local government works, and have some fun along the way.
What to expect:
• Small teams working together through a series of challenges
• Richmond Hill and municipal-election themed puzzles and questions
• No political or municipal knowledge required
• Plenty of opportunities to meet and talk with other local residents
• A friendly atmosphere, with a little competition thrown in
Come on your own, bring a friend, or bring a whole team. We’ll help organize everyone into groups when you arrive.
Everyone is welcome, whether you follow City Hall closely or are just beginning to wonder what municipal government actually does.
