Richmond Hill’s Merry Marketplace happens for five consecutive Saturdays, enjoy holiday shopping, food and entertainment while thousands of twinkling lights illuminate the park. (The lights stay on until 10 p.m. daily.)
This year’s event features:
- Artisan vendors offering unique holiday gifts
- Food concessions and cozy drinks
- Interactive areas including drop-in crafts and contests
- Parade-style entertainment with marching bands and community groups
- Weekly meet and greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus
- Special photo ops like the inflatable Winter Snow Globe
- A cozy fire pit warming station
- Live performances from jugglers, musicians and more

Bundle up and embrace the chill—Week Three of Richmond Hill’s Merry Marketplace brings the frosty magic of Frosty the Snowman! Keep your eyes peeled for the enchanting Jack Frost as he strolls through the market, spreading winter wonder and icy charm. Visitors are encouraged to dress in frosty-themed attire—think snowflakes, sparkles, and cool blues—to join in the seasonal fun. It’s a snow-sational celebration you won’t want to miss!

This happens for 5 Saturdays - November 15, 22, 29 & December 6, 13 - 4 – 8 p.m.
There is a collection of non-perishable food items in support of the Richmond Hill Community Food Bank. Items can be dropped off at the Information Booth, located at the start of the north walkway.
