‘Environments’ is a curated Group Exhibition of 12 York Region artists.
“This collection of works is compelling and thought-provoking, and we encourage the public to take this chance to see the powerful contemporary art being produced across the York Region.The installations featured in the exhibition are rooted in lived experience and reflect the finalists’ diverse backgrounds and unique ways of thinking, seeing, and being in the world." says Christos Damianos, the exhibit's curator.
Damianos invites viewers to (re)consider the role of nature and the Greenbelt in our daily lives and what we can individually do in insuring its protection and sustainability.
The exhibit, at the Boynton House (Richmond Green), is open Tuesday, January 16 2024 to Sunday, January 21, 2024, 10:00am to 6:00pm.
This exhibition is supported by a grant from the City of Richmond Hill.
