The City of Richmond Hill is refreshing its Festivals and Events Strategy and wants input from residents to guide a long-term vision.
Festivals and events play a powerful role in community-building, place-making, social interaction and empowering local businesses. Every year, the City hosts festivals and events like Canada Day, Ribfest, Concerts in the Park and Merry Marketplace and provides guidance for organizers looking to obtain permits for a variety of local cultural, arts and heritage events hosted by community groups and members of Council.
