2025 will see some changes to the Annual Ward 5 Music Festival ~ Songs from The Hill, Councillor Cilevitz’s scheduled summer music festival, to best accommodate the unpredictable climate-change weather and, to best deal with Councillor Cilevitz’s ongoing Long Covid health concerns. Notably, 2 separate events will take place indoors in the evening.
The first will take place on:Saturday evening, May 24, 2025 – Songwriters from The Hill, featuring Gregg Lawless and Soul Maitre D’s
The second will take place on Saturday evening, October 25, 2025 – Voices from The Hill featuring Opera Revue and Luminis Choir
Both events will be held indoors at the Richmond Hill United Church 7 pm.
Both events are free to the public, all-ages friendly
There will be door prizes, and an intermission catered by Encore Catering,
Funds raised for both events will once again support 360Kids and the Richmond Hill Community Food Bank.
Attendees are asked to please bring with them non-perishable food item/personal hygiene products and/or a cash donation to give to either and/or both of our two deserving local charities.
