Come for an evening of uplifting music at the Breath of Hope Woodwind Benefit Concert supporting the talented young musicians of the York Region Youth Orchestra.
The concert will feature enchanting performances by woodwind musicians, all in the spirit of raising funds for the York Region Youth Orchestra.
- Beethoven: Trio in C Major, Op. 87 (Arr. Spence Bundy) – flute, oboe, clarinet
- Saint-Saëns: Caprice sur des Airs Danois et Russes, Op. 79 – piano, flute, oboe, clarinet
- Handel–Halvorsen: Passacaglia for violin and cello
The YRYO is registered charity youth orchestra based in Richmond Hill, founded to provide young musicians with high-quality orchestral training and meaningful performance opportunities. They rehearse weekly, perform two major concerts each year, and actively engage with our community through charity concerts, seniors’ home outreach, and local cultural events.Their mission is to nurture young talent, build confidence, and create an inclusive musical environment where students can grow through ensemble work, mentorship, and real-stage experiences.
