Central Branch will reopen with limited hours and spaces starting Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Services will be gradually reintroduced during the fall months, and areas that are still being worked on will be unavailable.
Here’s what to expect:
Holds: unpause all holds with a pickup location of Central Branch starting Monday, Sept. 14. You’ll also be able to place holds on items at Central Branch.
Returning items: hold onto your overdue items until Monday, Sept. 14. Overdue notices won’t be sent out until Saturday, Sept. 19.
Creative Studio: services will be available at Central Branch in October. 3D Printing is available for booking at Richmond Green Branch.
Meeting Rooms: available for booking starting Thursday, Oct. 1.
Library of Things and STEAM kits: return to Central Branch on Monday, Sept. 14.
Proctoring Exams:return to Central Branch in October.
Local History: will be available starting Tuesday, Sept. 8 (by appointment only.)
Programs and Events: return to Central Branch in October.
Study spaces are unavailable for booking until further notice. Additional tables, chairs, and seating will be placed on the first and second floors for extra seating and study space.
Kids' Corner and its collection: available starting Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Technology: limited public computers and services will be available on the first floor starting Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Browsing Our Shelves:on the third floor will return on Monday, Sept. 14.
Richvale Branch extended hours, offered during the Central Branch closure, will end Sunday, Sept. 6. Regular hours will resume on Sept. 8.
