The date of the next federal election is April 28th.
The candidates have until April 7th to file their nomination papers. The complete list will be posted April 9th.
Advance voting takes place on:
- Friday, April 18, 2025
- Saturday, April 19, 2025
- Sunday, April 20, 2025
- Monday, April 21, 2025
The addresses for the advanced polls will be posted here after April 1.
If you need or want to vote before the advanced polls open you can go to the returning office. They are open until April 22.

For Richmond Hill South riding - it is at 68B Leek Crescent, Suite 201
Office hours, for both locations:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 12:00 p.m.to 4:00 p.m.
As a result of the decennial redistribution process that was completed in 2023, the boundaries and names of many electoral districts have changed, including for the boundaries for both the Richmond Hill riding and the Aurora Oak Ridges Richmond Hill riding. The Richmond Hill riding is now called the Richmond Hill South.
