It’s that time again—Backpacks 4 Back-to-School initiative is back!
Every August,the local Salvation Army get to do something pretty special: help local kids walk into the first day of school with confidence, excitement, and all the tools they need to succeed.
Thanks to your past generosity, hundreds of children and teens in our community have started the school year ready to learn—and maybe even showing off a really cool new lunchbox. We couldn’t have done it without you.
Here’s how you can help:
They are collecting brand-new:
- Backpacks (full-sized, please!)
- Lunchboxes
- Water bottles
- Geometry sets
- Calculators
Drop-off dates: August 12–15; 9 am to 4 pm
Where: 9050 Yonge Street (The Sun Life Building), Suite 102
Financial donations are also welcome—they will be used to fill in any missing supplies.
