Join the astronomers and staff at the Richmond Hill David Dunlap Observatory for a celebration of winter solstice traditions, stories and activities for the whole family.
You will hear an interesting presentation about the winter solstice on the Earth and venture to true Ice Planets and Moons (space missions to this frozen destinations).
There are also special celestial activities such as holiday and winter themed crafts to engage younger participants and spend time in the decked out DDO Library with engaging Holiday music.
Viewing through our state-of-the-art telescopes will be provided (weather permitting).
