Moira Welsh is a Canadian Journalist, Author, and Investigative Reporter with the Toronto Star. Ms. Welsh will share her AWARD WINNING story of “the desire among some to create homes that can help people with dementia thrive”.
Caregivers, health care professionals and the general public to attend this event and learn about the success of the “Butterfly Model of Care.”
In addition to the distinguished speaker, there will be the Alzheimer’s Society and other organizations from York Region to provide information on the services they offer to caregivers and those with a dementia diagnosis.
