As the York Region Integrated Children's Services, Social Services Branch prepare for the next Child Care and Early Years Service System Plan, they recognize there is an opportunity to reflect on the existing strengths and identify future opportunities in the children’s services system.
The Child Care and Early Years Service System Plan has five priorities:
- Decisions based on data
- A system that works together to plan services
- Parents, caregivers and professionals have the knowledge and capacity to support child development
- A responsive system that reflects the needs of children, families and stakeholders
- Children are included and have access to services
They would like to gather feedback, insight and expertise from their partners who support children from birth to 12 years old, to help them plan objectives and actions for the 2024-27 Service System Plan.
