Are you a local artist?

1 min to read

For over 20 years, the City has offered the Studio Tour as part of its commitment to support local artists.

While the Studio Tour has seen different iterations – from being a stand-alone event to running in conjunction with the City’s ArtWalk to now complementing Doors Open Richmond Hill, the premise remains the same: local studios and artists open the doors to their creative spaces, allowing visitors to tour, interact and witness the artistic process which is not regularly on display for the public.

This event is an excellent opportunity for local artists and artisans to introduce themselves to the public, as well as showcase and sell their work from their studios. The Tour is self-guided and free of charge for visitors.

The Studio Tour application is open to all visual and applied artists, fine craft artisans, and artist collectives whose studios are located in the City of Richmond Hill.

Apply to be a site at the Richmond Hill Studio Tour by Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 11:59 p.m

Artists will be notified of the outcome of their application in March. Studio Tour fee payment of $83.58 and supplementary documentation is due upon successful admittance to participate in the Studio Tour.
