On April 5, the City of Richmond Hill was informed of the resignation of Crystal Yu. As permitted by the Municipal Election Act, 1996, the YRDSB requires the City Clerk to hold a By-election to fill the vacancy in the office of York Region District School Board Trustee in Richmond Hill Wards 1, 2 and 4.
A By-election will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024, 10 am to 8 pm.
Advance Voting on July 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
