Richmond Hill is taking steps toward becoming an Age-Friendly Community (AFC).
With 31.9% of Richmond Hill’s population (2021 Census) being older adults (aged 55+), it seems like a wise move.
This month the city staff invite the public to join them at these two community workshops:
- Virtual: April 24 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. on Zoom. Register HERE.
- In-Person: April 25 from 10 - 11:30 a.m. at the Richmond Hill Centre for Performing Arts, 10268 Yonge Street (map).Register HERE.

- Community and Health Care
- Transportation
- Housing
- Social Participation
- Outdoor Spaces and Buildings
- Respect and Social Inclusion
- Civic Participation and Employment
- Communication and Information
